Saudi Arabia is actively showcasing its lucrative investment opportunities in the mining and industrial sectors, as highlighted at the Gulf Vision 2026 Forum in Paris. The Kingdom is keen on increasing French and European investment as part of its economic transformation efforts. Khalid Al-Mudaifer, speaking at the event, elaborated on the advancements made under the Vision 2030 strategy, spotlighting mining as a cornerstone of the national economy.

The Kingdom’s mineral wealth is estimated to exceed $2.5 trillion, encompassing substantial deposits of gold, copper, zinc, phosphates, aluminum, and rare earth elements. In pursuit of long-term economic growth, Saudi Arabia is focused on expanding mineral exploration, enhancing downstream industries, and constructing integrated industrial value chains.

During the forum, Saudi officials engaged with representatives from the French government and leading mining companies to explore investment possibilities, technology transfer, sustainable mining practices, and potential joint ventures. These discussions are part of a broader strategy to attract greater international collaboration.

In addition to investment opportunities, Saudi Arabia has implemented several reforms aimed at fostering a favorable investment climate. These include updated regulations, incentives for foreign investors, and initiatives to localize mining technologies while developing a skilled national workforce.

By positioning mining as a significant driver of economic diversification, Saudi Arabia aims to bolster its role in global supply chains and advanced manufacturing industries. The Kingdom’s strategic focus on mining is central to its vision of sustainable economic growth and global competitiveness.
